Founded in 2018 by Lucky Cerruti, Sam Williamson, and Eddie Mccole, DVP quickly gained the attention of underground horror fans with their short films showcasing high concepts, stellar acting and large scope despite extremely low budgets. in 2019, DVP raised the bar with the release of KINDNESS OF STRANGERS. Written and directed by Lucky Cerruti, the release of this film was something that couldn't be ignored. With sales across the globe and glowing reviews, KINDNESS OF STRANGERS became a calling card for DVP and pushed the company into the next level of storytelling and production.
With the departure of Sam and Eddie from the company in late 2019, DVP took some time to plan the next move. That next move would come in the form of FREAK. Sweeping film festivals and collecting awards, the film proved as a massive success and propelled DVP into the fabric of independent underground horror.
